Audi TT

At first glance, the MkIII TT doesn’t look a whole lot different from its predecessor, but it’s all-new from the ground up. Based on the VW Group’s latest MQB architecture, it weighs 140kg less than the original TT, but has a 37mm longer wheelbase than the MkII.

The front end is sharper, with a straight-edged grille, narrower LED lights and the Audi badge on the bonnet rather than in the grille. From launch you’ll be able to buy a 181bhp 2.0 TDI diesel, 227bhp 2.0 TFSI or range-topping 306bhp 2.0 TFSI TTS model, with a choice of a six-speed manual or S tronic gearboxes. The radical interior has no central screen – just Audi’s ‘Virtual Cockpit’ TFT display behind the wheel.
