The new Skoda Fabia will be the first of the new VW Group superminis to arrive, followed by the SEAT Ibiza and then much later by the all-new Polo. It’ll be based on a shortened version of the MQB platform underneath the Golf and Octavia, called MQB-A. Expect it to feature a range of 1.4-litre three-cylinder TDI engines and a 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine borrowed from the up!. There’ll be a turbo version of this engine, too.
